Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, head of Al Ahly’s medical staff, announced that the club’s football first team tested negative for COVID-19 ahead of our game against Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

Our players and coaching staff underwent a COVID-19 test on Thursday, as part of the precautionary and preventive measures that are set to combat the spread of COVID-19.

The Reds are set to face Sundowns in the second leg of quarter-finals on Saturday, after defeating the South African team 2-0 in Cairo.
